HEY Y'ALL
Literally I say this every week but Cullman is the best place ever!! Yesterday President Sainsbury spoke in our ward and after I told him I never want to leave Cullman. He said you never know you may serve your whole mission here because the work is progressing so much! I think he may be joking but I'm going to hold him to it! I never want to leave!!
So many miracles happened this week and I've seen how God is in the details of our lives! We were going to see this family that me and sister Clifford met when I first came here! They are the greatest family and so faithful! We had built a great relationship with them but they were in there own church so we never taught them. Well I just kept thinking about them all week so we decided to go visit them and see if they would want to know more about what we teach.
We knocked on the door and no one answered but the lights were on! So we waited a while and still no one came! I was so sad because I love them so much!! Well we walked back to our car and....the key wouldn't unlock the car!!! Literally none of the buttons worked but 5 minutes before it was totally fine! I was so cool though because even though it was freezing the spirit was like "wait 10 minutes and it will be fine, but in that time Jim will come home"
So we waited and sure enough...JIM PULLED IN THE DRIVE WAY 10 MINUTES LATER!!! Came over to see what we were doing, we told him and he took a look still nothing happened and then all of a sudden it worked!! Just then his wife came out and we were able to talk with them about the Book of Mormon. They both graciously accepted one!! God truly does have the best timing!
A few nights later we were driving home and they put a bunch of lights up at the park by our house. We were about to go home and literally the spirit was like "turn and go talk to that family" So I turned the car around so fast and pulled into the parking lot! Sister Brown was like what??? hahha it was so last minute, I just said we need to get out and talk to that family! WOW im so glad we did! They were so cute!!!!! The little kids held my hands and showed me all the lights around the park. The mom talked with us and was like " I know there was a reason that we came here! I bet it was to meet y'all!"
They were at the park the night before because Cullman does this thing where they hide painted rocks all over and kids look for them, it's so cute! So they were there the night before and found so many rocks. Well they asked if they could go the night we met them and she wasn't going to say yes but something told her she should! God truly is preparing people to hear the Gospel!
MIRACLES EVERYWHERE!!!
Deb read the whole Book of Mormon and Gospel Principles Book!! She is writing down all of her questions and bringing them to us when shes ready!
Will has come to church 4 times and loves everything, wants to be baptized but said "it only makes sense to read the whole book first" Solid!
Terry's whole heart is changed and its been the craziest thing to watch it happen! He is coming to church and loves it!! He thanks us every day for changing his heart but it wasn't us!!
So many wonderful things happened this week and there is no doubt in my mind that Jesus Christ lives! Wow I would not be able to do this without Him. So many people told us this week that we have this light about us, or that we have changed there hearts. That literally has nothing to do with us and everything to do with the LIGHT of Christ! He is the way and I'm so grateful to be apart of this marvelous work! I have seen peoples hearts COMPLETELY change! You want to talk about miracles, that is the greatest thing to witness! I truly love my Savior!! I'm so grateful that through him I can be changed and help others see how they can be changed! He is the greatest Gift that is given freely to us!
This week December starts, I want to invite all of y'all to see what YOU can GIVE to the One who has literally given you everything! I promise as you do you will see Jesus Christ as YOUR Savior! Not only did He overcome the world, He overcame everything YOU will ever face. He is yours because you are His!!
I love Jesus Christ! He loves you! I love you!!
