I love Sister Bodily and will miss her sooo much!! |
sooooo yes saddest day ever...i'm leaving Cullman tomorrow!!! Wow my heart will never be able to explain how much this place means to me! I'm so honored that I got to serve here for 7 months of my mission! I love this ward, I love these people and I love this area!!! It will forever hold a special place in my heart!!!
I am so pumped to see where I go! This has to be the true church because we literally get a call Monday saying where we go and then Tuesday we pack everything up and Wednesday we find out where we go and who we go with. Talk about trusting the Lord!! I'll let y'all know where I end up next week!
Way to much stuff |
This Sunday was truly the best, last Sunday in Cullman! The first time I came to the Cullman ward I walked in and saw that the overflow part of the building was closed. I told myself that It was my goal to have that opened before I left! Because that would mean soooo many people would come to church! SO this Sunday we had 15 people come to church!!!!!!! I wish we could say that they were all people we were teaching but sadly I can't. 4 of them were and wow was my heart so happy to have them come!!
The others were actually from Atlanta. They were down here for work and one of their co-workers is in our ward so he invited them to come! Three of them were members and the rest weren't and wow there was such a special spirit when they walked in!! They were incredible and had such a love for the Savior like nothing I've ever seen! We talked to them before and sat with them in Sunday school. After church we talked with them about the Book of Mormon and they graciously accepted them!!! So Atlanta missionaries there are 5 people with copies of the Book of Mormon who have come to church and have co-workers who are members!! GO FIND THEM!!
We also had three babies blessed in our ward! It was so tender!! It just added even more to the crowd of people! So they had to open up the overflow section!!!! My heart was soooo happy!! And instantly I knew my time in Cullman was finished. It was the coolest thing, from my first day to my last, God was so aware of me!
My Last District |
The Spirit witnessed so strongly to me that day that GOD IS SO AWARE OF US!!! Although I am so sad to leave Cullman, I really can't be because of such a perfect ending here! That truly is the purpose of life, to align our will with His. Every time we do we realize that He has something so much greater. I truly love Him with all my heart! GOD IS SO GOOD!!!
the starks are new ward missionaries and they are the best! |
I'm so grateful to be a missionary in the south! I love these people so much and I'm so honored for how they have changed my life! I know that this is Christ church! I know the Book of Mormon is true and wow are we so blessed to have it! I know that God is in the details of our lives and will place tender mercies in our path always! I know that Jesus Christ lives!!! That the Plan of Salvation is REAL, it truly is Gods plan for us! I just makes sense!! I LOVE this Gospel with all of my heart and what a privilege it is to help my family come back together!! Being a missionary is the greatest thing I could have ever done!! I'm so grateful to my Heavenly Father for seeing me fit to serve!
