Believe in Him, He always believes in you!

APRIL 15, 2019

Believe in Him, He always believes in you!

Dinner with the cutest family the Leoa

Hey Y'all

Everything in Alabama is so GREEN! It's so beautiful with all the Spring flowers coming and the warm weather, makes me so happy!

So this has been an amazing week, lots of ups and downs but truly the Lord answers prayers and has shown me I am never alone.

We as a mission really tried extra hard this week to find more and bring more friends to church. That means we tracked for hours a day!! I love to tract and knock doors because you meet so many people!!

So the first part of the week was hard and we didn't have much success. I just need to remember during rejection times, not to be so hard on myself and turn to the Lord.  "President has promised us success, the Prophet is emphasizing the Gathering of Israel more and Heavenly Father promises that He will do a marvelous work, so we have to keep going!"

Honestly being faithful to the Lord is only half of it. Yes it is so important to be obedient to the Lord and follow His will. However, if we aren't faith-filled, meaning we truly believe in the promises of God,  or we aren't just doing things to check a box off. You're doing them with an attitude of gratitude. Truly grateful for the trust in the Lord has given you and 100% believe MIRACLES WILL HAPPEN!!

So I put it to the test, just prayed sooo hard that we would find and bring the Elect home. We had two days with nothing! And I just kept crying to my Father in Heaven to help.

Well that is the most wonderful thing, He listens and when He's ready He answers. So the next two days we were able to find 28 people and make return appointments with all of them!! GOD ANSWERED!
I LOVE PLANNING!
Weekly planning was crazy and my heart was never so full! We'll I wish I could say of these 28, they all progressed; but sadly people have agency and don't always use it to come to Christ.

Weekly planning, I could be a slight stocker haha

Most of them canceled, weren't home or rescheduled. Some heard our message and didn't want to continue. And others believed crazy things people told them and said that there was no way we could be of God sharing the things we believe.

But the point is God answered and gave us so many people to pray for, believe in and have a faith-filled attitude that they would accept it. And although they are not now, they will one day!

I know this because I've seen it happen so many times. That is why we never give up! Never stop trying to serve the Lord the way He asks. Even when things fall apart. Even when it seems hopeless. We keep going because He has promised us He will deliver.

Saturday night we were at the end and only had one friend coming to church. We knocked on Raven and Kamary's door. We tried to visit them so many times that week and it never worked, we went by one more time. Faith-Filled, that although history would say it wouldn't happen, you trust Heavenly Father's promise MORE.

They let us in!!!! We taught the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, about Prophets in these Latter-Days and how we have an at home study for us to strengthen our families, inspired by God through His Prophets. They loved it!! One of my most favorite lessons I've taught on my mission! We invited them to church and.....THEY CAME!!!!
One of our cancellations left us a note!! So sweet!
Just goes to show that Heavenly Father will always be true to his Promises. Not always how we hope or expect, but always when we need it the most. We just have to not only be faithful to his commandments but faith-filled in our thoughts to the point where no matter what happens we will always believe in the Lord with a brightness of Hope and Love for God!

I love this work. I love being pushed to my limits and seeing how the Lord will always deliver me. I love that my Father in Heaven hears my cries and never let's me struggle more than I can bear. I love being a missionary!!!

Keep going, no matter what it is you are facing, keep believing He will carry you through!  Have an attitude that, despite all the facts,  always trust the promise of our Savior. He always delivers. I've seen it, I've lived it, I know it's TRUE!

He loves you! I love you!   Have a great week remembering your Savior's sacrifice for YOU. Try this week to see what you can Sacrifice for Him. I promise as you willingly give something up to come closer to him, you will not only know that He is the Savior of the world, but that He is your personal individual Savior!

-Love Sis Schultz!

AM I DOING THIS FOR CHRIST?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTER TENNYSON!!! If you know me, you know I love birthdays!! and I finally got to celebrate my comps bday with them! went a little extra but it was so fun!!

Hello my loves!!

This week has truly changed my life! Recently I was in a weird rut and just felt stuck! Like my prayers weren't being heard or my efforts weren't counting toward the progression of people. I was just in a routine and did things that I should be instead of because I wanted to.

Soo I started looking deeper for things and wow did God pour out his spirit! I Studied the Atonement of Jesus Christ in a new way I never realized. I started over on PMG and my love for being a missionary came flooding back in a new way. I realized my problem was I just focused on the "need to do it" instead of the 'why I love to"

As soon as my perspective changed my JOY grew immensely! Thing that use to be hard or impossible were coming so easily! We spent one morning walking around before lunch trying to talk to everyone! We ended up talking to 35 people and read the Book of Mormon with each one. We set up a few return appointments and my JOY could not be contained!!
We fasted with Kevin yesterday and It was incredible to teach and explain the why behind it to him. He worked at waffle house that whole day and fasted the whole time!!! It was incredible and everything he was searching for came through! He is now officially being baptized on the 20th!! He was willing to do something for the Lord because he UNDERSTOOD WHY!!! And by doing so his JOY was full!

So just remember we are asked to do hard things, have situations that don't seem happy! But I promise you that if you take a second to rethink about the WHY, you will have JOY no matter what. I promise that If we do things or live our life in a way that is always for JESUS CHRIST we will always be able to have joy.

I testify as a set apart servant of the Lord that He truly did everything for US. I testify that you are able to make a happy life when you focus on WHY you are doing this for Christ! I promise the change of mind will have you seeing the Savior in a whole new light!
I love Him!! I know He has done everything for me, I'm honored to be able to in return do things for Him.

I invite you to really look at the things you are doing now and ask yourself "am I doing this for Christ?" if you are great keep going! If not, Change!! It is possible through Him. I promise you will have more JOY than you thought possible!

I LOVE YOU!! HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
We had dinner with a member and she gave us stuffed animals, she had hundreds!!

GOD is GOOD!

I LOVE THE CITY!!!
March 26, 2019

Nine Months!  Can't believe how fast time is going!!!
Not a whole lot of time but have to share miracles really quick!

So its was a bit of a finding drought this week and then BOOM! Heavenly Father gives us the best blessing ever!
Sis Tenny and I were in the park and a little boy ran to us asking for help finding his sister!  So of course we did!!
We found all of them and the mom and the dad! lol  It was a crazy mess with all of us walking the opposite way of each other haha.
Study time at the Park!
They are from Jordan!! They invited us in and we ate the yummiest spinach things! We talked about prophets of Old and of Today!! They were so interested and wanted a Book of Mormon!! We came back the next day and brought one in Arabic, they were shocked!

Arabic food yum!!
We taught them about it and they were so excited to read. We wanted to be respectful of their faith, so we focused only on God not the Savior. They believe He was a prophet, just not the Son of God. Anyways the lesson was one of the most powerful ones i've had. God became so relevant to me, I felt and realized He truly is My Father.

I've been trying to find the Savior in the details of my life. And WOW its mind blowing! Like my grandma always says "if it were a snake it would have bit ya"  Literally so true!!

I can testify as a Disciple of Christ, That Father in Heaven is apart of every single detail. He doesn't just know us but He knows our HEARTS AND DESIRES!

It was the biggest blessing to be able to focus on Him more. Just put all my attention on God and see my relationship grow so much deeper!

So I want to invite y'all to look for Heavenly Father's Hand in your daily life. Then write it down! I promise your amazement for how much God truly knows you and your heart. I Testify that he is pleading for you to find Him. I testify that He loves you more than you could ever understand!!

You are Noble, one of His Elect. Keep finding Him, Keep believing in Him! He will forever Believe in YOU!

Love y'all

Tia Pad yum!

old man Paul who gave us a lot of advice for an hour and a half!!  Literally would not let us leave. Very great advice tho!

Jesus is the Christ! March 11, 2019

Sister Tennyson and I out tracking about

Hello!

This week was very different but so good!

First off, miracle of the week was when we taught Kevin the Plan of Salvation!! He told us that a huge reason why he
started meeting with us was because he knew we didn't believe in just Heaven and Hell. I always took for granted
the peace his plan brings. How blessed are we to literally know everything our Father in Heaven has planned for us.

We truly are so blessed to have the Gospel in its Fullness.

The whole time after Kevin kept saying "it just makes so much sense! It's what I have always wanted to know.
It just makes so much sense!" It was so funny how happy and excited he was! At the end we invited him to be
baptized on March 30th and he was so excited!! It was the best reaction, seriously a kid in a candy shop!
I am so blessed to be able to see how the Gospel changes people's happiness, attitude and life!

We did a lot of less active finding and not as much teaching this week and by the end I realized how I wasn't
testifying of my Savior as much as I usually do. I realized my heart wasn't as happy and so I really studied about
my Savior more and tried to figure out why testifying of Jesus Christ fills us so much!

In my opinion, our hearts are filled because the Spirit is able to testify to them and us of the reality of Jesus Christ.
Every time you have the spirit bare witness to your heart you find that missing piece of your life. Because we lived
with Christ and Heavenly Father before this life our souls long to be with them. That is why we feel so good when
we do things to draw us closer to them because it's as if we are back home! I also believe that our hearts are full
because you are able to feel the love your Savior has as you testify of what He means to you. He truly does know
you and your heart on a level you won't be able to ever understand.

I love my Savior and I couldn't believe how much my heart missed Him. There is a reason we talk of Christ, we
rejoice in Christ why we preach of Christ and prophecy of Christ, because He is who we look for a remission of
our sins. He is who makes us Whole. I truly love my Savior. I can testify as one of His disciples that HE LIVES.
If you have ever felt the reality of His love or understood the reality of the perfect life He lived, DON'T LEAVE!
He will always believe in you, so why not always believe in Him?!

He truly is the Redeemer of the world but that only came because He suffered and tended to the needs of every
single person individually. That means He had to first be the Savior of YOUR life. I can promise that He forever will
be. Because you are His, He will always be yours!!

I love Him, I love y'all, He LOVES YOU!!!!

GOD IS GOOD.....March 4, 2019

Hello!

I love being a missionary!
Don't have that much time this week, but I just wanted to testify of how Good our loving Heavenly Father is!

We were able to go on a church tour with Kevin last week and teach him the Restoration. It was such an incredible experience and I have never had the spirit so strong! He was so engaged and loved everything about it. He even brought his Book of Mormon and a notebook, it was so tender!

We ended the tour in the chapel and we were talking about our Savior and the sacrifice He had made for us. He told us how he has always had a hunger to come closer to Christ, just never knew where to find it. He testified to us that he had finally found it here, in Christ's Church!

We invited him to be baptized, and could barely get the sentence all the way finished before he eagerly said yes! Sister Tennyson and I were talking about it after and it was literally like one of those proposal videos where the girl knows it's happening and just can't wait for the boy to extend the invitation haha except in our case it was in a Gospel sense. He is now preparing to be baptized on March 30th!!!

It is incredible how much he has changed in the time I have met him. It just adds to my testimony that the Gospel is for everyone!! And when people accept it into their hearts, they literally change into who God intends for them to be. Jesus Christ truly came to not just save us all, but to CHANGE us all.

I love my Savior more than anything and LOVE to wear his name on my heart! I testify that this is His church and y'all can know it by reading about His ministry to the people in the Americas. SO I invite y'all to read 3 Nephi 11 and put yourself in their shoes. I promise your Savior will become so real to you as you do!

Love y'all Sister Schultz

Love Sister Tennyson!

WHITEWASHED IN BIRMINGHAM!!! I

Sister Tennyson my new Companion!
February 11, 2019

Hello Friends and Family!!!

wow what a crazy amazing week it has been!! We had transferals and I am now in Birmingham!!
New Companionships -- Love this girl
It is so crazy being here in the city and I love it so much!! When we were driving to transfers I kept telling sister Bodily to look at the huge buildings!! I had major culture shock at first haha I was so use to my county dirt roads and cows! I love everything about being here though!!!

So Happy to be with Sister Tennyson
My new companion is sister Tennyson and WOW I LOVE HER!!! She is the cutest!! We are now serving in an area that was just Elders, so we are both new to the area!! We have had a fun time trying to figure everything out and wow how the Lord has helped us!! GOD IS SO GOOD!!! I am so honored to be here!!

We serve over the YSA in Birmingham and also the Hoover family ward! The Assistance to the Presidents. They are such great missionaries and give us so many people to teach! Is literally a miracle!!!

The City is the best and we literally just talk to so many people everyday! We live so close to UAB  campus and we made a goal to get ten peoples number in an hour and WE DID!!  It was so much fun! All we do all day is talk to people about Jesus Christ!! i don't know how I have had such a blessed mission!! Heavenly Father is so good!!

Love this sign!
Our first day here the AP's set up a teaching appointment with Kareen! She is a sister of a member and she is incredible! The elders came to the first part of the lesson because she wanted a priesthood blessing! She had seen the power it had in her families life and she knew it would help her! She is trying to over come bad habits and she is the best example of putting all her trust in the Lord. The blessing was so powerful and after she was crying!! She said she knew this was the power of God!!

Painting with AP's and our new investigator
The elders left and then Sister Tennyson and I taught her about the Book of Mormon! She was so excited to read!! She has read every day since and will text us at night about her thoughts! She is a miracle and I am so thankful to be apart of her conversion!!!

I LOVE MY MISSION!!! I will never be able to thank my Father in Heaven for all the tender mercies He has shown me! This truly is His work! Faith truly can do anything!! We just have to put our trust in Him and know that the future is sooo bright!!

I LOVE MY SAVIOR AND KNOW THAT HE LIVES!!! There is no way I could be here and figuring all this out on my own. This is His work and I am so honored to play a small part in it! I love Him with all of my heart!! I KNOW HE LOVES Y'ALL!!

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!

Love Sister Bodily!  I will miss her....

TRANSFERS--I'M LEAVING CULLMAN! BEST 7 MONTHS

I love Sister Bodily and will miss her sooo much!!
Hello!!!

sooooo yes saddest day ever...i'm leaving Cullman tomorrow!!! Wow my heart will never be able to explain how much this place means to me! I'm so honored that I got to serve here for 7 months of my mission! I love this ward, I love these people and I love this area!!! It will forever hold a special place in my heart!!!

I am so pumped to see where I go! This has to be the true church because we literally get a call Monday saying where we go and then Tuesday we pack everything up and Wednesday we find out where we go and who we go with. Talk about trusting the Lord!! I'll let y'all know where I end up next week!
I had to take my beloved wall down!

Way to much stuff

This Sunday was truly the best, last Sunday in Cullman! The first time I came to the Cullman ward I walked in and saw that the overflow part of the building was closed. I told myself that It was my goal to have that opened before I left! Because that would mean soooo many people would come to church! SO this Sunday we had 15 people come to church!!!!!!! I wish we could say that they were all people we were teaching but sadly I can't. 4 of them were and wow was my heart so happy to have them come!!

The others were actually from Atlanta. They were down here for work and one of their co-workers is in our ward so he invited them to come! Three of them were members and the rest weren't and wow there was such a special spirit when they walked in!! They were incredible and had such a love for the Savior like nothing I've ever seen! We talked to them before and sat with them in Sunday school. After church we talked with them about the Book of Mormon and they graciously accepted them!!! So Atlanta missionaries there are 5 people with copies of the Book of Mormon who have come to church and have co-workers who are members!! GO FIND THEM!!

We also had three babies blessed in our ward! It was so tender!! It just added even more to the crowd of people! So they had to open up the overflow section!!!! My heart was soooo happy!! And instantly I knew my time in Cullman was finished. It was the coolest thing, from my first day to my last, God was so aware of me!

My Last District
It was also testimony meeting and President always likes us to bare our testimonies first. But the Cullman ward is just to amazing everyone runs up haha so I never could be first, until this last Sunday!! It was a powerful meeting and 11 people got to share their testimony!! One of them was Becky! WOW I love her!! We met her at the store and she said she would come to church! She is def in one ear so she talks kinda loud and had no filter! She is literally incredible!! She came to church for the first time on Sunday and right before testimony meeting was going to end she asked if i'd be okay if she bore her testimony! We said of course and so SHE DID!!!! It was incredible, my heart still is so full from all the JOY that came from such a miraculous last Sunday!!!

The Spirit witnessed so strongly to me that day that GOD IS SO AWARE OF US!!! Although I am so sad to leave Cullman, I really can't be because of such a perfect ending here! That truly is the purpose of life, to align our will with His. Every time we do we realize that He has something so much greater. I truly love Him with all my heart! GOD IS SO GOOD!!!

the starks are new ward missionaries and they are the best!
I'm so grateful to be a missionary in the south! I love these people so much and I'm so honored for how they have changed my life! I know that this is Christ church! I know the Book of Mormon is true and wow are we so blessed to have it! I know that God is in the details of our lives and will place tender mercies in our path always! I know that Jesus Christ lives!!! That the Plan of Salvation is REAL, it truly is Gods plan for us! I just makes sense!! I LOVE this Gospel with all of my heart and what a privilege it is to help my family come back together!! Being a missionary is the greatest thing I could have ever done!! I'm so grateful to my Heavenly Father for seeing me fit to serve!
Love Sister Bodily

I LOVE Y'ALL SO MUCH!!!  HAVE THE BEST WEEK EVER!!! GOD LOVES YOU!

Trying to find less active that did not want to be found

I love cows! and farms so much! grandma would be so proud!
