TRIO LIFE--3 Months out

Hello everyone!!

This has been an incredible week! Don't have much time so I will just share a tender mercy that happened on Saturday.

Sister Turner, Sister Clifford and Sister Schultz--Trio Team!

We found out that Sister Clifford and I were going to become a Trio with Sister Turner! She was my STL last transfer and I love her so much! She is an amazing missionary and knows how to make it fun! Although we were so pumped about the Trio, we were also sad that our time as a companionship was over.

So we decided to take our dinner hour and go to this restaurant! It was so fancy and had the yummiest food! Kind of like wingers back home. SO GOOD! Anyways we wanted to be fast so we sat outside because that is all that was open.

We looked around and it ended up being a smoking area. This couple, Annette and Tom came by us and asked to sit and smoke by us because there were no other seats. We said of course!! They were so nice and friendly towards us and what we do as missionaries. We talked the whole night with them while they enjoyed the area we were in. They couldn't believe that we were so young and were away from home for so long!

We were waiting for our check and then Tom went inside for a minute. When he came back our waiter said "you ladies are good to go, your bill has been taken care of!"

TOM PAID FOR US!! It was the sweetest thing, Sister Clifford and I almost cried because we couldn't believe it. We thanked them and all they said was " we respect you for doing the Lords work, thank you for being a light to this world!"  We hugged Annette and thanked Tom before we left! The south truly does have the greatest people here!! I'm so lucky to have the opportunity to serve as a missionary here!

This experience taught me so much about the love our Savior has for us. Not going to lie at first I was a little hesitant to have them join, because smoke around the food not the best situation. But I am so grateful that I did because it was so enjoyable to get to know them! None of that would have happened if we didn't accept them as they are.

That is how the Savior is with all of us. He just accepts us as we are and shows us the way we could be. It's no second thoughts or hesitations on if you can come. He will never look at you like your a waste of time! He is constantly calling out to us to "come unto Him". Christ didn't come to save those who are perfect, if we were perfect w wouldn't need a Savior. He came here to show us the way. He came here to show us how to love everyone. He came here to show us how to accept everyone.

I'm forever grateful for the night I spent with Annette and Tom. I'm grateful for their kindness towards me and my beliefs. And I'm most grateful for the way my Savior showed me what can happen when you accept everyone, no matter where they are at in life.
I just want encourage all of y'all to strive to see everyone the way the Savior would! It changes your life as you do so. I can promise you will feel more love for those around you and you'll come to know the power of your Savior's love!

I literally love, love! I love this mission so much and I'm grateful to be serving here!! I'm so grateful for the chance I have to represent my Savior and His true church! This is the greatest work on earth!

I love y'all so much!! have a great week!
